The size of anyone’s trade order, and of the potential eventual position, should be dictated by his or her own Trading Plan. Some traders prefer to build a position slowly, while others may prefer a stronger initial position to trade around. The trader’s comfort level matters, but also the ratio of a position’s risk compared to the total account size.
