Getting Started

Precise Timing and Targets

VidiTrade Signals offer a unique approach to trading by identifying precise timing and targets through the analysis of buyer and seller dynamics. By closely monitoring two key vectors—Tests and Timing—we can discern whether a market move’s sponsorship is isolated or gaining traction.

Tests and Timing

Tests: Isolation vs. Traction

Viditrade signals can provide precise timing and targets by identifying when either buyers or sellers are taking control. The method monitors two vectors: Tests and Timing. This is the key for instantly labeling whether a move’s sponsorship is isolated, or if it gains traction.

  • Isolation: The price level rejects being pierced, creating a distinct boundary.
  • Traction: The price level is pierced, resulting in a breakout that extends relentlessly.

Timing: Determining Outcomes

The timing of Tests is crucial for determining outcomes. Notably, Tests are ongoing until timing dictates their resolution. Timing windows can be fixed or dynamic, impacting the interpretation of test results. Examples of timing windows include:

  • Fixed Timing Windows: e.g., First 15 minutes of a trading session.
  • Dynamic Timing Windows: e.g., First 3 minutes after piercing a relevant level.

Tests & Timing Examples

If the images seem to label a test as either “breakout” or “hold” arbitrarily, it’s because they do! A test is forever ongoing, until timing says to determine the test’s outcome.

  • Price action piercing the price level may extend relentlessly forever in that direction, which is “traction,” otherwise known as a breakout. Or, the price level may reject being pierced, and instead “isolate” the test.
  • We can label the test when its timing window closes. Not all timing windows include a test. And some timing windows lapse while price action is still overlapping the relevant level.
  • Relevant prices are either calculable or structural. A calculable example is Fibonaccis, like a 61.8% retracement. Structural examples are pre-existing chart features, like a gap-fill or a prior extreme.
  • “Timing Windows” is a broad term that includes both: fixed periods that start at the same time repeatedly, and dynamic periods that are triggered randomly. An example of a fixed timing window is the session’s first 15 minutes. A common dynamic timing window is the first 3 minutes after piercing a relevant level.

So, while two tests may seem entirely identical, their different timing can indicate entirely different resolutions for each. We visualize the resolution, label the viditrade setup, then easily apply trade selection, execution decisions, and more.
