Trend trailers help to identify whether a brief correction has ended, or may be becoming something greater. It goes into effect after a leg’s 61.8% retrace is returned to that leg’s 38.2% retrace. At this point, either the original trend is resuming, or else retesting the 61.8% retrace likely becomes something greater that reverses the original trend. Also called the Reax*/Resume (*reaction).
