close-quarters double

A close-quarters double bottom or top takes roughly 10 minutes to form. It measures just wide enough that its two tops or bottoms don’t overlap their interim extreme. The pattern often triggers a temporary reversal before the prevailing resumes to fully retrace the pattern, and the temporal reversal often measures 261.8% of the pattern’s height. It is also common for the pattern to form a triangle that simply extends the trend without reversing it.
