Invalidated bias

A cleanly triggered A.M. bias signal at 10:15 or P.M. bias signal at 1:20 can be invalidated at the bottom of the hour at 10:30 or 1:30. This is also the grace period window that can be invoked, but invalidation does not require invoking it.

A cleanly triggered BIAS-UP at 10:15 (or 1:20) will be invalidated if that signal’s probe has been reversed at 10:30 (or 1:30). If the grace period was invoked, then reversing the probe at 10:30 (1:30) would trigger it LATE. Otherwise, reversing through 10:30(1:30) simply invalidates the signal that did trigger.

A cleanly triggered NO-BIAS will be invalidated if a bias signal is probed at 10:30 (or 1:30).

Touching or overlapping the signal at 10:30 (or 1:30) will not qualify to invalidate a cleanly triggered signal.

The invalidated bias window will not put into play a target or objective, and it will not require being contained between its bias signals. The bias levels may still be responsive if tested, but their test will not require a consequence or earn a reward.

A no-bias signal can be invalidated at 11:30 beyond a target, being too late to simply exceed its signal at 10:30. A bias-up/down can be invalidated at 11:30 beyond its opposite signal if the 10:15  signal was never further productive (otherwise, beyond its opposite target).

Also, since the trades have not been executed, the results may have under-or-over compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight.
