AM Bias window

The A.M. Bias Window is a fixed window that opens at the same time daily. It contains the Bias signal’s morning influence — rewarding one sponsorship for its opening effort, while its opposition suffers consequences, depending on the 10:15-10:30 outcome of a bias price level’s test.

  • Its reward would be an extended target price if Bias-up or Bias-down triggered, or
  • its consequence would be a Reverse to the opposite bias signal if if Bias-up or Bias-down held its test.

The bias signal’s test (or lack of a test) is assessed at 10:15. If still being overlapped then, the grace period is invoked, which delays the assessment until 10:30.

The bias influence persists until the window lapses between 11:30-noon, or at least until that comes within view 10-15 minutes earlier at 11:15-11:20. Friday Factors tend to make the morning’s bias persist through the noon hour.

You must be aware of the risks and be willing to accept them in order to invest in the futures and options markets. Don’t trade with money you can’t afford to lose. Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, since the trades have not been executed, the results may have under-or-over compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight.
