The Proxy Window opens at 3:10 and closes at 3:20. Its contents aren’t often relevant or predictive. Its primary purpose is to serve as a second look at the P.M. bias window’s lapse, either to confirm what that may have signaled, or to form its own separate setup.
The separate setup forms in one of two ways. One setup begins within the afternoon range and then trends to a fresh afternoon extreme, which usually signals more sponsorship arriving into the close. The other setup reverses from afternoon extremes, which can signal the reversal’s follow-through.
One other setup is a failed version of the first setup, that contains a failed probe of fresh afternoon extremes. This reversal from temporarily probing a fresh extreme can extend the reversal.
